Financial Assistance
Our policy is to help through the valuable resource of relationships. We want to give in ways that help, rather than hurt. We want to be there for people for the long-term. We don’t pay for hotel rooms, but we are willing to help figure out a deposit on an apartment. We don’t give money for food, but are willing to give you food or go grocery shopping with you. We have limited financial resources, so the needs of people we personally know are met first. We have members who are willing to sit down and help you figure out how to make a budget and pay your bills. As well as members who are willing to give you a ride to the doctor or just offer a shoulder to cry on.
