Get involved with the Garden of Hope!

Community Garden Space - Garden space is available for use for any of our neighbors. All we ask of gardeners and farmers is that they be willing to share their surplus with area food pantries and meals programs, as well as with each other and those known to be in need.
Farming Program - In partnership with Feed Iowa First, New Disciples has begun a transitional farming program for individuals who have recently immigrated to the United States. This program allows farmers in the program an opportunity to practice farm management and production within this new market and climate. The hope is that this experience will help these farmers access farm loans and land rental opportunities through the Iowa Farm Bureau. The food that is produced is shared with HACAP, Meals on Wheels, Summer Meals Program, and distributed by bus in nearby neighborhoods.
