Opportunities to Volunteer at General Assembly 2019!

One great way to attend the General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is by being a volunteer! It provides many great opportunities to meet people from across the country and you get your registration at a decreased cost!

Volunteers are needed in the following roles:

• Deacons
• Communion Preparers
• Ushers
• Hospitality Subs (Pastor Stasia's Team - Back-up in case a volunteer calls in sick.)
• Tabulators (must be able to pass financial background check)
• Registration Desk (must be very comfortable with modern technology & have a friendly/patient disposition)
• Lost and Found Assistants
• Special Needs Assistants (help with scooters & refrigeration of medication)
• Preschool Workers
• Elementary School Ministry Helpers
• Security for Technology during Breaks
• Chapel helpers.
• Communicators & Promoters throughout the Region
• New Disciples Representative & Promoter
• Meal Ticket Distribution
