Compassion Opportunity - Visit our Homebound!
Our Homebound really appreciated the carolers and gifts in December. In visiting, it was clear that visits are appreciated but all too infrequent. (See 1 Timothy 5:1-16) Enjoy chatting and meeting with older folk? Feel called to care for the homebound? Join our new Homebound Visiting Team. All it takes is about 30 minutes of your time a few times a month. We already have several individuals interested in this; you won’t be the only one. Both men and women are welcome. You will be able to share Communion with them if you wish. We also need creative ideas for caring for the homebound/elderly in the congregation. Interested? Questions? Contact Dick Goodall.
